MLI’s Motto

Learn to Lead - Lead to Serve.

Develop leaders with courage, competence and compassion for the transformation of Myanmar society

MLI develops

  • Leadership capabilities for the transformation of society in line with the values of justice, solidarity and option for the poor:
  • Myanmar citizens who are competent and compassionate leaders, able to think critically and creatively, committed to serve the common good;
  • Professionals who are anchored in sound ethics and human values, contributing towards nation building, peace building and restoration of human rights;
  • Leaders who in their respective fields will promote opportunities for the development of all, hence bringing about prosperity and peace to all, especially those who have been neglected.

MLI offers a one-year graduate diploma in leadership in partnership with Ateneo de Manila University. The MLI diploma course helps aspiring leaders reach greater self-awareness, so that they may lead organisations and engage in society with greater conviction, knowledge and depth. MLI also collaborates with Jesuit Worldwide Learning (JWL) Geneva and offers professional certificates in Peace Leader and Liberal Studies leading to a three-year degree programme.
